On February 5th, 2022, CALIC is back virtually to ring in the new year. Alongside our host, Pastor Frank C. Oliver, our panel of speakers will discuss issues impacting the public in the new year. Join us virtually via Zoom, YouTube, or Facebook Live!
With every new year comes legal and government changes that can often throw the public for a loop, as well as personal resolutions some may struggle to tackle. This time, CALIC hopes to address the changes that have occurred at the start of 2022 and those that are soon to come. We’ll be discussing physical wellness, mental health, criminal law, COVID-related policies, and family law.

About Our Speakers
Joe Richardson, Esq.
McCune Wright Arevalo, LLP, Partner Joe Richardson leads the firm’s Racial & Economic Justice Practice Group. With more than 20 years of experience, Joe uses his advocacy skills to identify and right injustices done to individuals in employment and civil rights contexts and engages in consumer marketplace litigation. He is also a frequent public speaker, providing insight on ethical responsibility, leadership, consumer rights, and social activism. Pastor Frank C. Oliver
Uplift Church Lead Pastor Frank C. Oliver has a passion for community development and entrepreneurship. In addition to leading his congregation, Frank also is an active life coach, author, speaker, and activist. He is CEO of Urban Uplift, Inc. which seeks to revitalize urban centers in Southern California, and he uses his extensive experience to build and revive communities. Pastor Oliver aims to empower and encourage his community members to ignite their own entrepreneurial spirit to create a stronger city, state, and country.
Kamola L. Gray, Esq.
Kamola L. Gray is a native of Riverside, CA. After high school, she attended Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, and Seattle University School of Law in Seattle, WA. Ms. Gray has been practicing law since 2003 and has worked on a wide range of cases in many areas of law. At Chung & Ignacio, LLP, Ms. Gray focuses solely on family law matters, including divorce and child custody.
Joshlyn R. Pulliam, Esq.
With 14 years of experience as an attorney, Joshlyn R. Pulliam has demonstrated a dedication to achieving justice and a strong work ethic that has helped her grow in her career. Now the Deputy District Attorney for Riverside County, she pursues professional excellence both in and out of the courtroom. Ms. Pulliam is a graduate of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
Jonathan Buffong is a product of the best the Inland Empire has to offer. He is a Mental Health Education Consultant for the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health and works in the Office of Cultural Competence and Ethnic Services. He enjoys training on diverse topics and engaging with the community of San Bernardino on increasing behavioral health practices.
Coach Darius McCants
Coach Darius McCants has spent years cultivating physical health and positive habits in his students. As a coach at the Rancho Cucamonga branch of Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, he often sees new students struggle to maintain a healthy lifestyle. His passion is encouraging others to develop constructive habits and help them work towards their ideal level of fitness.
