Scott Baez
Biography
Scott Baez represents plaintiffs in wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases, working tirelessly to achieve the best possible result for his clients and to ensure that wrongdoers improve safety practices to prevent future harm. His work includes achieving multi-million-dollar resolutions on behalf of clients who suffered injuries from defective automobiles, tractor-trailer crashes, vehicle-on-pedestrian collisions, dangerous school facilities, and ski area hazards.
Mr. Baez graduated magna cum laude from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where he was a member of the Honor Society and earned awards for top performance in his Evidence, Advanced Torts, and Practical Litigation Skills classes. In addition, professors selected Mr. Baez to mentor their first-year students as a teaching assistant in Torts and Criminal Law.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Baez was a progressive organizer and activist in his hometown of Reno, Nevada. He lobbied in support of civil justice and public education issues, and campaigned on behalf of candidates for the U.S. Senate, state legislature, and judiciary.
Mr. Baez is an avid DIYer with a love for the outdoors. On weekends, you can find him turning a wrench, riding a motorcycle, or camping on public lands with his wife Margo and dog Arthur.
