Jessica L. Becerra joined McCune Wright Arevalo, LLP as Associate in 2019. Ms. Becerra represents plaintiffs in class actions, product liability, mass torts, business fraud, and consumer protection litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Becerra graduated with honors in 2014 from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in History. Following her time at UC Irvine, Ms. Becerra attended law school at Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating in 2018. Ms. Becerra also received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. During her time at Pepperdine, she was the Managing Editor of Pepperdine’s Dispute Resolution Law Journal, had her journal article, The Possibility of Using Alternative Dispute Resolution for Election Law Disputes, published in Volume XVIII Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal, served as a Co-Chair of the Pepperdine Law Honor Board, and was an Assistant Resident Director for Pepperdine University Housing and Residence Life.
Before coming to McCune Wright Arevalo, Ms. Becerra was a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark Houle in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and a law clerk for a workwear manufacturer and distributor.
Ms. Becerra currently serves as a Board Member of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and a Preceptor for the Pepperdine Law Parris Institute Preceptor Program.
