Lloyd Buckley

Lloyd Buckley is an attorney at McCune Law Group and focuses his practice on aggressively litigating a variety of personal injury cases, including wrongful death, auto accidents, premises liability and product liability cases throughout California. Motivated by his passion to help others, Lloyd’s aggressive advocacy and dedication ensures his clients receive the maximum recovery available while holding corporations, public entities and individuals accountable for their negligence in causing his clients harm.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Lloyd attended Indiana University where he earned his B.A. in political science.  Afterwards, Lloyd attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During law school, Lloyd worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Gregory W. Alarcon at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Following law school, Lloyd volunteered with the Center for Juvenile Law & Policy (CJLP) at Loyola.  The CJLP brings public service, education and advocacy together to improve the quality of legal services provided to indigent children in the California juvenile delinquency system.  Lloyd saw first-hand the difficulties at-risk youth have against powerful institutions like the government.

Following his experiences at CJLP, Lloyd moved into private practice where his desire to champion for individual rights has translated to advocating for victims harmed by the misconduct of others. Lloyd is a natural competitor and takes great pleasure working with clients to ensure they get maximum compensation for their injuries

When he is not lawyering, Lloyd loves getting outside and playing with his 2 kids.

Successes

• In October 2024, Lloyd obtained a $1.25M jury verdict against a $300k pretrial offer in Riverside re auto v auto.
• In May 2024, Lloyd obtained a $500k arbitration award against a $0 pre-Arb offer regarding a 2 MPH auto v auto accident.
• During 2024 alone, Lloyd obtained settlements, verdicts and arbitration awards on behalf of clients in excess of $14M.
• In 2021, Lloyd had the pleasure of attending and graduating from CAALA’s Plaintiff’s Trial Academy, one of Southern California’s most prestigious trial schools.
• Lloyd wrapped up 2021 by first chairing his first jury trial and being a 2022 Super Lawyers Rising Star selection, an honor he has received each year since.
• Lloyd was selected to The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 from 2022-2024, his last year of eligibility.
