Water Heater Defect Class Action
McCune Wright Arevalo, LLP is investigating a lawsuit on behalf on property owners whose water heater has failed and/or caused damage to the property. Recently, the number of water heater failures have increased. There are generally two distinct manufacturing defects: non-conductive anode rods and interior coating defects. A resistor anode rod failure, primarily with the resistor itself, renders the anode rod non-conductive and completely ineffective as a corrosion protection device. Interior Coating defects are attributable to the manufacturing process. Impact fractures, where the glass coating has broken free or chipped away, expose the steel tank.
